Is content really the king?

I am sure that most of you managed to create great content for your websites yet failed to get a respectable number of readers to view this content.

If content was really the king good content would have been recognized as soon as it’s discovered and great websites like your wouldn’t have remained unknown

Content is only helpful in retaining users who have already visited your website but it can never help you in bringing new visitors to your website because unless they can find it they will never be able to visit it.

This means that bringing visitors to your website is the king, content is the queen and the caste needs both in order to survive.

Who is the real king

If your website were to have another king it would be persistence. Lots of websites fail to have popular website not because they have bad content but because they give up too early on facing few rejections.

My first website that I started is now getting yet it was rejected hundreds of times when it was still new.

If you learned how to tell people about your website and learned how to become persistent your website will become popular even if everyone rejected it at the beginning.

Reaching the right niche

The reason your website was rejected by lots of people is that you didn’t reach the right niche who are interested in your content and not because your content is bad.

Targeting the right niche is not a hard task but even if you were an expert marketer still some people who are not interested in your website will see it by mistake and then stop visiting it. This of course will affect your conversion rate, exit rate and your site’s popularity on the short term but on the medium term your website will get recognized if you were persistent enough to wait you make it.

In short, learn marketing, become persistence and you will succeed in creating a famous website.
