How long should Blog posts be

Should you write long Blog posts or should you keep your posts short and informative?

Answering this question according to your own personal preferences might result in losing your readers simply because your personal preferences might be disturbing to them.

Provided that your post is interesting you will get 2 more page visits per visitor which means that 1000 visitors can bring you 3000 page hits instead of 1000. This will increase your site's popularity, will allow users to trust your site more since they will become more familiar with it and it will also increase your Alexa's rank.

In addition to all this the bounce rate of your website will decrease with the shorter blog posts and thus your traffic will increase. My website has a bounce rate of 1.8 percent which means that out of every 100 person who visits my website only one person leaves without reading another page!! This happened because of lots of reasons but one of the main reasons for it is having short blog posts.

In short, write short blog posts and you wont regret it.
