My first website is now getting more than
and I am selling more than 25 products successfully.
The reason I succeeded in online selling is that I understood how online visitors think, behave and act then modified my website accordingly so that it matches the way they think in order to let them buy. In this article I will tell you why people buy and how to make them buy your online products by making some modifications to your website.
Before someone buys a product he must have a need for it. You can’t buy my book How to get over someone in few days while you are already happy and satisfied with your relationship but you must first experience a breakup in order to feel like needing it.
So if the presence of the need is the basic step that is required in online selling then you must assure that you are getting the right traffic to your website in order to generate sales out of it.
Bringing traffic from social networking websites might increase your site's traffic or bring you few more dollars from Adsense but unless those people are interested in what you sell they will never buy from you. If people who have a certain need are browsing your website still its not a guarantee that any of them will buy your products simply because they don’t trust you yet.
You can’t sell something to someone before you make him trust you first and the best way to do it is to provide him with a free sample that works so that he believes in your product. If people trusted you they will move on to the next step which is checking the content of their pockets and finding whether they can afford your product or not.
Having one or two cheap products on your website can help you let them get through this step since research has proven that after we make the first purchase we are more likely to purchase more products.
Sell them a cheap product first and they will come back for your more expensive products if they liked the first one.
