How to write interesting blog posts

Today I was reading an article that contains interesting information however I found myself feeling sleepy and I started to yawn.

After analyzing the page I was reading I discovered the main reason it made me feel bored which is that it overwhelmed me with information.

But then I asked myself a question, why didn’t I feel overwhelmed while i was reading similar pages that contained even more information than this one? And the shocking answer was, the page layout.

Your page layout can make your readers bored!!

Our minds can only receive a certain amount of information per second even if it was interesting information. If someone over loaded you with information then you will feel overwhelmed and you might become bored.

If you use large paragraphs that have many lines then your mind will try to process them all at once and will end up overwhelmed. In order to improve the readability of your posts paragraphs should contain very few lines so that they don’t overwhelm the reader.

The other factor that made me become bored while reading that page is the line spacing which was too narrow. When your page has wide line spacing your blog post will become more readable and more interesting.

People love blogs that make them feel good and hate ones that make them feel bad. If every time someone visited your blog he felt frustrated, stressed or overwhelmed then he might stop visiting it.
