Nowadays, the internet does not consist of individual users who don’t connect with each other but it consists of groups of people who share common interests and who group together whenever possible.

A group of people might be interested in pets and their meeting place might be a known forum for pet lovers, another group of people might be interested in making money online and their meeting place might be a famous blog that covers that topic while a third group might be interested in finance and their meeting place might be a yahoo group. In order for your website to succeed you must connect with the groups that are interested in your content because they are the ones who will visit your site over and over if they liked it. If you found a way to connect with certains group of people who have your same interests then surely you will get lots of visitors to your blog.

Making your blog known by connecting with bloggers

The first thing you need to do is to identify the popular Blogs in your niche and try to connect with their owners. Don’t go for the most popular ones because their owners might be too busy to reply back to you.

Once you managed to connect with some of these Bloggers you can then start to reference them in your articles and let them know that you wrote about them. A percentage of those Bloggers will return back the favor and write about your blog too which will give it more exposure and will allow it to be a part of their network.

No, it will take you a considerable about of effort and time to find the right people and to learn how to connect with them properly. Once you learn how to do this the process it will become systematic and you will be able to establish more connections easily and in a short period of time.

Become one with the niche you are targeting, speak with them, discuss their problems with them and they will start referencing your blog. Once you become a member of the tribe your blog will get much more exposure.
