Since the girl sees at least 50 guys everyday she will only give attention to the ones that are different than the rest. It’s almost certain that a large number of those guys will be pretty similar to each other and that the ones who could please the girl would be very few, is that right? Of course it is

How the internet user thinks

So what does this story have to do with making your blog popular?
Every internet user is the same as the girl that was in the story. Everyday internet users come across lots of new websites that are similar, boring and having nothing different.

In order for a site to really catch the attention of that already bored internet user it must stand out in the crowd, you can’t just build another article directory or make another blog then expect it to be popular. (see How to make a popular website)

Standing out in the crowd

You don’t have to have a flashy website or an eye catching design to make your blog popular because after all those are just complementary factors that enhance the user’s experience but are never the main reason that brings traffic to a site.

Add more information in your Blog than other blogs, provide access to the same service people use in a better way, use a cheaper price to give the same service or do anything else to make your site different.

Once your site becomes different than the other sites you won’t have to worry much about the traffic you will get or the income you will make.
