Nowadays my site 2knowmsyelf.com gets more than . When I first started it I was straggling to increase the number of hits I get everyday by using an extremely selfish marketing strategy.

When I was first trying to bring visitors to my blog I was looking for them everywhere except on the websites of other Bloggers. As I started learning more I discovered that one of the biggest sources of traffic Blogs have is the traffic that comes from similar blogs in their niche.

Bloggers who are in the same niche usually know each other and they are always in the process of connecting , linking and talking about each other.

Your role as a new Blogger should be penetrating into the niche and becoming one of them instead of trying to make your blog popular on your own. Yes you can manage to make your blog popular without connecting with anyone but its much harder and will take you much more of time to do it.

The expected number of visitors you can get when penetrating a niche

Suppose that you managed to write guest posts on three other blogs that get a 100,000 monthly hit each. This means that your content will be exposed to 300,000 hits that were generated by people who are in your same niche.

Those people will surely be interested in visiting your site and buying your products because it focuses on their common interests.

Most of the traffic I get comes from search engines but still connecting with others bloggers in your niche is one very big source of traffic that you can never afford to lose.
