Targeting high paying keywords in Google Adsense

The first website that I started is now getting more than . The reason I am using an image to display that number is that it increases every now and then and so I just have to update the image instead of updating all articles with the new number.

Some Adsense keywords can pay you as high as 10 dollars/click, this means that 100 clicks can bring you 1000 dollars. And since 100 clicks is something that can be easily achieved in a day then your website can bring you you 30,000 dollars/month if you targeted these right keywords.

Finding highly paying keywords that are related to your website

Most of the people who give advices about making money online will tell you one of two things, either to construct your website with the goal of targeting highly paying keywords with disregard to the topic you want to right about or to write about the topic you want and stop focusing on keyword targeting.

Both methods aren’t good, the first won’t allow you to make a successful website because unless you write about what you know you want have a successful website while the second will let you miss big amounts of earnings by not targeting these keywords.

The third method which I will explain in this article will allow you to find the highest paying keywords that are related to your content and so you will be able to make the best out of your content without writing about any off topic subjects.

How to do this

Step one: Add Google analytics to your website, you will need it to gather data. If you don’t know how to do it then read the article how to add Google analytics to my website

Step Two: Open analytics, go to content then click on Adsense and you will see a table like the one below displaying the pages that bring the highest Adsense revenue.

Step three: As you can see in the table, the second page brought 2.83 Dollars of earning from one click! Which means a click on this page brought 2.83 dollars to the site. Go to this page and check the ads that are displayed there and examine the page to find the keywords that triggered these highly paying ads.

Step four:Write content that is related to these ads so that you can trigger them in many pages on your website.

Step five: Repeat steps 1-4 for each page that bring high revenue with low number of clicks.
