Color psychology matters: Yesterday I went into a bad mood for at least 1 hour after reading a pitch page designed by someone who sells a product that was of interest to me. The guy made his sales page look like the millions of sales pages out there. He used yellow highlights and red lines which made me feel irritated and wanting to leave. Even though I was really willing to buy the product I couldn’t continue reading to the end of the page because of the irritation I felt. If you want to make your website popular then you must make sure that people won’t feel irritated while visiting it. Avoid red, yellow and orange as much as you can and use green, white and light blue if possible.
