EBooks can be a great source of passive income, you just have to write a good book, start selling it and sleep while money accumulates in your bank account. Just write a normal selling page using your own words instead of copying templates that consumers are already sick of.
The customer wont care about the way your product was developed, the specifications it has or the number of pages it contains, but all what he will be caring about is what can the book or the product do for him.
Lets suppose that you are selling a weight loss book, telling the customer that book will tell him how to follow a diet that was prescribed by weight loss experts wont be as powerful as telling him that he will lose 20 pounds over the next few weeks. After all if the customer is searching for a weight loss book then all what he cares about is losing weight and nothing else.
If your website contains nothing but selling pages then you are going to be regarded by customers as someone who wants to take their money. You can hardly sell many products while consumers have such an image for you in their minds. You should focus on creating a website that has anything useful apart from the selling pages like free samples, free trials, free articles or even forums.
When your site contains something else other than selling pages you are going to be regarded as someone who offers free stuff and sells some products beside them instead of someone who is waiting to take the money from the first victim he finds.
Once you have such a setup ready you should focus on making your website popular and not the selling page, some out of those who will visit your site later will try your products and you will have good sales. If they were to arrive to the selling page directly instead, most of them would have left without buying anything.
