How to rank high on youtube

Few months ago i was wondering if technology would advance one day to allow youtube to record the words inside a youtube video and then use keyword desnity of spoken words as one of the metrics.

After all this makes complete sense since Google owns youtube and since google depends on keyword density in ranking articles and pages then why wouldn't they do so when it comes to videos?

Even though i was highly expecting that i was astonished to discover that there is a new button that was introduced to youtube that allows all the words said to be displayed as subtitles!! (see getting on the top of search engine results)

This means that Google already managed to find a way to convert the words inside videos to text and so keyword density can now be used to rank videos !!

Is Google using keyword density to rank videos?

No one can tell but certainly one day they will do and only those who are prepared will find their video views shooting up :)
